Billing methods for C100 and D100 instances
Database Audit Service uses a subscription billing method. The service offers two types of instances: C100 and D100. This topic describes the performance specifications and billing details for the editions available for these two instance types.
C100 instance
Performance and pricing
Pricing for Database Audit Service instances varies by region. The following table outlines the editions, performance specifications, and pricing for the C100 instance.
The number of database instances that you must purchase (the number of databases that can be audited) equals the number of ports on which your database services run.
For example, you have two database assets whose IP addresses are IP 1 and IP 2. IP 1 provides services on one database port and requires one database instance. IP 2 provides services on three database ports and requires three database instances. In total, you require four database instances. In this case, select an edition that supports four or more database instances. Select the Advanced Edition with five instances, which can audit up to five database instances.

Log storage expansion
You can expand log storage in 1 TB increments up to a maximum of 200 TB. The storage expansion pack costs CNY 500/TB/month in the Chinese mainland and CNY 900/TB/month in regions outside the Chinese mainland.

Database Audit Service supports upgrades but not downgrades.
D100 instance
Performance and pricing
The following table describes the performance and pricing for D100 instances based on the number of supported database instances.
The number of database instances that you must purchase (the number of databases that can be audited) equals the number of ports on which your database services run.
For example, you have two database assets whose IP addresses are IP 1 and IP 2. IP 1 provides services on one database port and requires one database instance. IP 2 provides services on three database ports and requires three database instances. In total, you require four database instances. In this case, specify four or more database instances.
D100 instances are available only in the Chinese mainland. For details, see Supported Regions.

Log storage expansion

Refund policy
Database Audit Service offers a 5-day unconditional refund. You can unsubscribe from the service on the unsubscribe page. Refunds are not available for instances that have been active for more than five days.
For renewal orders, you can request a 5-day unconditional refund before the new service period begins. Refunds are not provided after the new service period begins.
Service expiration
When your Database Audit Service subscription expires, the service stops automatically. If you do not renew your subscription in time, auditing will stop for your databases. After 15 calendar days, the Database Audit Service instance and all related data are permanently deleted. To ensure business continuity, we recommend that you enable auto-renewal when you purchase your instance.
