DataBase Audit supports auditing for Alibaba Cloud's cloud-native databases, such as ApsaraDB RDS, and self-managed databases, such as those on Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances. This service meets your requirements for data auditing and log retention.
Auditing ApsaraDB RDS
You can deploy an agent on a user's PC that directly connects to the ApsaraDB RDS database using a database O&M tool, or on an application server that accesses the database. The agent collects access logs for auditing.

Auditing self-managed databases on ECS
You can install a DataBase Audit agent on an ECS instance to obtain database operation logs and audit the self-managed database. The service supports various popular databases to ensure compatible and effective data auditing.
