Data Transfer Plans are cost-effective resource plans that take effect immediately after purchase, automatically offsetting data transfer fees across multiple pay-by-traffic cloud services until depleted or expired.

Description

ECS

IPv4

IPv4 traffic from static public IP addresses on pay-by-data-transfer ECS instances.

EIP

IPv4 traffic from pay-by-data-transfer EIPs bound to the following resources (excludes BGP Multi-ISP Pro):

  • ECS instances in a virtual private cloud (VPC)

  • Secondary elastic network interfaces (ENIs)

  • SLB instances, including the following:

    • Private-facing Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances in a VPC

    • Application Load Balancer (ALB) instances

    • Network Load Balancer (NLB) instances

  • NAT Gateway instances

  • High-availability virtual IP addresses (HaVips)

CLB

IPv4 traffic from public IP addresses of pay-by-data-transfer public-facing CLB instances.

Internet Shared Bandwidth

IPv4 traffic from Internet Shared Bandwidth instances billed by dominant traffic. Excludes Data Transfer over BGP Pro Lines.

IPv6 gateway

IPv6

Public IPv6 traffic from pay-by-data-transfer IPv6 Internet bandwidth.

Cloud Data Transfer (CDT)

IPv4

Data Transfer Plans automatically offset CDT public Internet traffic in the first billing tier (0–10 TB) only, with no extra configuration required. CDT public Internet traffic beyond the first billing tier is offset by CDT resource plans or billed as CDT pay-by-traffic. CDT traffic statistics include traffic already offset by Data Transfer Plans, which is expected. CDT outbound traffic from cross-region VPC peering connections cannot be offset by Data Transfer Plans.

Benefits

  • Cost-effective

Data Transfer Plans offer affordable traffic rates.

  • Covers multiple cloud products

A Data Transfer Plan can offset the traffic fees of products such as ECS, EIP, and CLB that are billed by data transfer, and Internet Shared Bandwidth that is billed by dominant traffic. For more information, see Supported products and traffic types.

  • Easy to use

Once purchased, a Data Transfer Plan automatically applies across multiple regions to offset traffic fees. No configuration required. Purchase a Data Transfer Plan.

  • Centralized management

Monitor total Internet traffic usage by tracking Data Transfer Plan consumption.

  • Off-peak Data Transfer Plan

    Competitive pricing and additional discounts.

    • An Off-peak Data Transfer Plan is active only during off-peak hours (00:00:00 to 08:00:00 UTC+8). It automatically offsets traffic fees for products in the covered area, such as ECS, EIP, and CLB that are billed by data transfer, and Internet Shared Bandwidth billed by dominant traffic.

    • If you have both an Off-peak and an All-hours Data Transfer Plan, the off-peak plan takes priority during off-peak hours. The all-hours plan applies at other times.

Areas

Each Data Transfer Plan covers a specific area, which may span multiple regions.
