What is a Data Transfer Plan?
A Data Transfer Plan covers the cost of data transfer between Alibaba Cloud and the internet. The plan takes effect immediately after purchase and automatically offsets the data transfer fees generated by multiple pay-by-data-transfer Alibaba Cloud services until it is used up or expires.
Supported services and data transfer types

Cloud Data Transfer (CDT): If you use CDT for centralized billing of the internet data transfer of any supported service and data transfer type listed in the preceding table, Data Transfer Plans automatically offset the eligible internet data transfer billed through CDT. Data Transfer Plans offset only the first billing tier of CDT internet data transfer (0 to 10 TB). Internet data transfer beyond the first tier is billed by CDT on a pay-by-data-transfer basis or offset by CDT resource plans.

Off-peak Data Transfer Plan
Lower prices than the full-time ones.
An off-peak Data Transfer Plan takes effect automatically only during off-peak hours (00:00:00 to 08:00:00 UTC+8). It automatically offsets the data transfer generated by all supported services in the covered area, such as pay-by-data-transfer ECS instances, EIPs, and CLB instances, as well as pay-by-dominant-data-transfer Internet Shared Bandwidth instances.
If you use an off-peak Data Transfer Plan and a full-time Data Transfer Plan at the same time, data transfer is offset from the off-peak plan first during off-peak hours and from the full-time plan at other times.
Areas
Each Data Transfer Plan applies to a specific area. An area covers one or more regions. The following table lists the regions that each area covers.
