Purchase shared data transfer plan

Data Transfer Plans are easy-to-use and cost-effective resource plans. After purchase, a data transfer plan takes effect immediately and automatically offsets the data transfer fees for multiple pay-by-traffic cloud services until the plan is depleted or expires.

Before you begin

Before purchasing a data transfer plan, note the following:

  • Each Alibaba Cloud account is limited to 200 active data transfer plans. This quota cannot be increased. Select a plan size that meets your requirements.

  • The regions that a data transfer plan covers are as follows:

    Description

    ECS

    IPv4

    IPv4 traffic from static public IP addresses of Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances that are billed by data transfer.

    EIP

    IPv4 traffic from Elastic IPs (EIPs) that are billed by data transfer and bound to the following cloud resources (excluding EIPs of BGP Multi-ISP Pro):

    • ECS instances in a virtual private cloud (VPC)

    • Secondary elastic network interfaces (ENIs)

    • SLB instances, including the following:

      • Private-facing Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances in a VPC

      • Application Load Balancer (ALB) instances

      • Network Load Balancer (NLB) instances

    • NAT Gateway instances

    • High-availability virtual IP addresses (HaVips)

    CLB

    IPv4 traffic from public IPs of public-facing CLB instances that are billed by data transfer.

    Internet Shared Bandwidth

    IPv4 traffic from Internet Shared Bandwidth instances that are billed by dominant traffic. This does not include Data Transfer over BGP Pro Lines.

    IPv6 gateway

    IPv6

    Public IPv6 traffic from IPv6 Internet bandwidth that is billed by data transfer.

Purchase a shared plan

  1. Log on to the Data Transfer Plan purchase page.

  2. On the buy page, configure the shared as follows. Then, click Buy Now and complete the payment.

    Validity Period

    Select the validity period of the Data Transfer Plan.

    • 1 Month

    • 6 Months

    • 1 Year

    Important

    • After a Data Transfer Plan expires, refunds are not supported. Unused data is cleared upon expiration and cannot be transferred to another plan.

    • If your business requirements change and you no longer need the Data Transfer Plan, you can unsubscribe from the plan and request a refund. For more information about the refund policy, see Unsubscription rules.

    Data Transfer Plan Specifications

    Select the specification of the Data Transfer Plan.

    The available plan specifications vary based on the validity period. For more information, see the purchase page.

    Package

    Select the package for the Data Transfer Plan.

    • Asia-Pacific Full-time: The Data Transfer Plan covers the Asia-Pacific regions and is available 24/7.

    • Europe and US Full-time: The Data Transfer Plan covers the Europe and US regions and is available 24/7.

    • Asia-Pacific Off-peak: The Data Transfer Plan covers the Asia-Pacific regions and is available only during off-peak hours (00:00:00 to 08:00:00 UTC+8).

    Note

    If you have both an off-peak plan and a full-time plan, the off-peak plan is used first during off-peak hours. The full-time plan is used during other hours.

    Quantity

    Specify the number of Data Transfer Plans to purchase.
