Process

Data synchronization involves the following steps.

Procedure	Description
Prerequisites	Configure network connectivity and security settings (such as IP whitelisting) so that DTS can access the source and destination databases.
Configure a synchronization task	Configure the synchronization task in the Console.
Manage the synchronization task	Monitor the task performance The feature tracks task status and provides management insights. Modify the synchronized objects Add or remove synchronization objects while the task runs. Configure alert monitoring Set alerting rules for key metrics to get real-time task status updates.
Release a synchronization task	Release the task when it is no longer needed.
