This topic describes how to create a connection template for a source or destination database instance.
Procedure
This topic uses a MySQL database as an example to demonstrate how to create a connection template.

Go to the Streaming ETL page.

Log in to the DTS console.

In the left-side navigation pane, click ETL.

In the upper-left corner, click the
icon. In the Create Data Flow dialog box, enter a name in the Data Flow Name field, and set Development Method to DAG. -
Click Confirm.

From the component list on the left, drag an Input/Dimension Table (MySQL) node to the canvas.
Click Input/Dimension Table MySQL-1 on the canvas, and on the Node Configuration tab, click Create Instance.
In the Create Connection Template dialog box, enter the instance information. For more information, see Add an ApsaraDB database and Add a third-party or self-managed database.
