The Data Subscription feature lets you create multiple consumer groups to consume data from a single source repeatedly. This reduces Data Subscription costs and improves data consumption speed.
Usage notes

You can create up to 20 consumer groups for a single Data Subscription instance.

Each consumer group can have only one consumer.

Switching the DStore module or the client may cause data duplication.
Procedure
- Log on to the DTS console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Change Tracking.
- On the Change Tracking Tasks page, select the region of your change tracking instance.

Find your Data Subscription instance and click its instance ID. A list of instances is displayed with details such as instance ID/name, status, consumption checkpoint, Data scope, billing method, and available Actions, such as Convert to Subscription and Modify Subscribed Objects.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Consume Data.

On the Consume Data page, click Add Consumer Group in the upper-right corner.

In the Create consumer group dialog box, configure the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Consumer group name
The name for the consumer group. A descriptive name is recommended for easy identification.
Account
The username for the consumer group.

Must contain only uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and underscores (_).

Must be 16 characters or less.
Password
The password for the consumer group account.

Must contain characters from at least two of the following types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.

Must be 8 to 32 characters in length.
Confirm password
Enter the password again for confirmation.

Click Create.
