Unbind or delete tags

Usage notes

• You can unbind up to 5 tags at a time.
• A tag unbound from all associated instances is automatically deleted.
• Unbinding tags does not affect instance functionality.
• Instances without tags cannot be filtered by tag.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Data Transmission Service.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Migration, Data Synchronization, Change Tracking, or Data Integration, depending on the type of instance you want to tag.
3. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your instance resides.
4. In the Actions column of the instance, click Edit Tag.
5. In the dialog box that appears, click Delete next to the tag that you want to unbind.
   Note To permanently delete a tag, unbind it from all associated instances.
6. Click OK.
