If the link specifications of your data migration or data synchronization instance do not meet your business needs, you can upgrade the link specifications. This improves data transmission performance, ensures that the instance runs smoothly, and supports your business growth.
Prerequisites
The instance is in the Incremental Data Migration or Incremental Data Synchronization phase and is in the Running, Paused, or Failed state.
The instance is a data migration or data synchronization instance. You do not need to configure link specifications for subscription instances.
The instance cannot have the maximum specifications.
Billing
If the billing method is subscription:
Fee = (Daily fee of the instance after the upgrade - Daily fee of the instance before the upgrade) × Remaining days from the upgrade date to the service expiration date.

If the billing method is pay-as-you-go:
The fee is calculated based on the new link specifications of the instance. The billing rules remain unchanged. A bill is generated every hour.

Procedure

Log on to the Data Transmission Service (DTS) console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Data Synchronization or Data Migration.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is located.
Find the target migration or synchronization instance. In the Actions column, choose .
Select a link specification, and then read and agree to the Data Transmission Service (pay-as-you-go) Terms Of Service.
