The .gov.cn domain name is reserved for the websites of Party and government agencies in China, or entities legally authorized to perform government functions. To register a .gov.cn domain name, your organization must have an Organization Code Certificate and be classified as a government legal entity. Businesses and individuals cannot register. This topic describes how to complete the real-name verification for a .gov.cn domain name.
Prerequisites

You have registered a .gov.cn domain name. For more information, see .gov.cn domain name registration and cancellation for Party and government agencies.

You have verified the email address of the domain name holder. For more information, see Verify the email address of a domain name holder.
Verification materials

Procedure

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud Domains console.

On the Domain List page, in the All Domain Statuses drop-down list, click Unverified, locate the target domain name, and click Submit Documents in the Actions column.

On the Domain Name Holder Real-Name Verification page, follow the instructions on the page to fill in and upload your real-name verification information.

After you fill in your real-name information and upload your documents, click Submit.

Follow the on-screen instructions to download the .gov.cn domain name registration application form, and then complete and submit it based on the following requirements.
