Configure and use the Cloud Phone Android client

This topic describes how to configure and use the Cloud Phone Android client.

Client interface overview

  1. Enter your organization ID or workspace ID.

  2. Switch the logon method.

  3. Access more settings:

    • Settings: Opens the Settings window for general configuration.

    • About: View version and check for updates.

On the WUYING cloud phone app logon screen, enter the Workspace ID/Organization ID in the text box (for example, cn-shanghai+dir-471952****), select I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy, and then tap the arrow button to continue. You can also select Log on with SMS at the bottom or tap More to choose other logon methods.

On the WUYING cloud phone app logon screen, enter your Username (for example, use01) and Password. By default, the password is masked. You can tap the eye icon to make it visible. Below the logon button, you can select the Auto Logon check box or tap the Forgot Password link to reset your password. The bottom of the page also provides access to Log on with SMS and More logon methods.

  1. Enter your username.

  2. Enter your password.

  3. With automatic logon enabled, you do not need to re-enter credentials for a period after a successful logon.

  4. If your initial password has expired or you forgot your custom password, click Forgot Password to get a new initial password.

  1. Cloud resource card. This card lets you perform common management operations on the resource. For example, you can power a Cloud Phone on, shut it down, or restart it from its card.

  2. Settings button. Tap this button to open the settings screen for the Cloud Phone.

  3. Personal Center. Access account information, settings, and product suggestions.

  4. Change the view. You can switch between the card and icon views for your cloud computer.

  5. Refresh the cloud resource list.

On the cloud resource list screen, the Power button on the left of the bottom toolbar opens a power menu with Shut down and Restart options. The Settings icon on the right opens the settings page. A circular performance monitor icon in the top-left corner displays signal and performance status. The top-right corner contains the Grid Menu icon and the Refresh icon.

Personal Center

The Personal Center sidebar displays your profile picture and username at the top. Below are menu entries for Settings, Product Suggestions, and About. The Log Out button is at the bottom.

The Personal Center provides access to features such as Account Information, Settings, and Product Suggestions.

Log on and connect

Auto logon

Enabling auto sign-in lets you stay signed in for a set period without re-entering your credentials.

  1. Open the client and select Auto Logon on the logon screen.

  2. (Optional) The default auto sign-in period is 10 days. To change this period, sign in to the client, click the icon in the upper-right corner, and then click Security Center. On the Sign-in Security tab, select a new period in the Auto Sign-in section.

    On the General settings page, you can also enable auto logon by selecting the Auto Logon check box in the Login Settings area.

Log off from the client

In the upper-left corner of the cloud resources interface, tap Profile and then tap Log Out. In the displayed dialog box, tap Yes.

Change your logon password

You can only change passwords for convenience accounts from the client. AD accounts are managed by your enterprise Active Directory (AD). To change the password for an AD account, contact your administrator, unless it is your first time signing in or your password has expired.

Forgot password

  1. On the sign-in screen, click Forgot Password.

  2. In the Reset Password dialog, enter your username and email address/mobile number, and then click Confirm.

    If your information is verified, a new initial password is sent to the specified email address/mobile number.

Known password

  1. In the upper-right corner of the desktop client, click the icon, and then click your username.

  2. On the Account Summary panel, click the icon next to Login Password.

  3. In the Change Password dialog, enter your current password and a new password, and then click Confirm Submit.

    Note
    • The password must be at least 10 characters long and include at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Your new password cannot be the same as your previous password.

    • When you confirm the new password, enter it again manually. Do not copy and paste the password.

Connect to a cloud resource

After logging on, the client lists the Cloud Phones that your administrator has assigned to you.

On the cloud resource list screen, if a Cloud Phone is shut down, first tap the icon on its card to power it on. After it starts, tap the connect icon on the card to connect to it.

After connecting, the Cloud Phone's status changes to Running and the home screen appears. The dock at the bottom contains apps such as File Manager, Gallery, and Settings. The Power button is in the lower-left corner.

Information and settings

View information about an account

  1. After you log on to the client, tap Profile in the upper-left corner, and then tap your username.

  2. On the Account Information page, you can view your account information.

Display language

You can switch the language between Simplified Chinese and English.

  1. Choose an entry point based on your logon status:

    • Before logging on: At the bottom of the client logon screen, select More > Settings.

    • After logging on: In the upper-left corner of the cloud resource list screen, select Personal Center > Settings.

  2. On the displayed page, choose General > Language.

  3. In the Preferred Language section, select your preferred language.

    Note

    This setting affects not only the client's display language but also the language of the floating ball menu on the Cloud Phone desktop.

Update the client

You can view the client version and the release notes. You can also check whether a version is available for update.

  1. You can access the About UI element before or after logon:

    • Before logon: In the lower part of the logon page, choose More > About.

    • After logon: In the upper-left corner of the cloud resources interface, choose Profile > About.

  2. On the About page, you can view the client version. You can tap Check for Update to check whether a new version is available.

Submit suggestions and feedback

  1. After you log on to the client, tap Profile in the upper-left corner of the cloud resources interface and then tap Feedback.

  2. On the Feedback page, enter your suggestions or feedback and tap Submit.
