Create and manage custom images

You can create custom images to add features or develop services. This topic describes how to create and manage custom images.

Prerequisites

You have obtained the required Android Open Source Project (AOSP) image baseline from the platform, completed a custom build, and imported the built image to the platform. For detailed steps, you can submit a ticket to contact Wuying technical support.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Cloud Phone console.

  2. (Conditional) If you are in the instance-based console, click Switch to Cloud Phone Matrix at the top of the navigation pane on the left.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Manage Resource > Image.

  4. On the Custom Images tab, click Import Image.

  5. Set the following parameters and click Confirm.

    Configuration Item

    Description

    Image Name

    The name can contain only digits, letters, underscores (_), periods (.), hyphens (-), colons (:), or Chinese characters.

    OSS Address

    The Object Storage Service (OSS) address where the image is stored.

    Important

    The OSS address must be in the Chinese mainland. An address outside China or in the Hong Kong region may cause the image file download to time out.

    The image tar package must be smaller than 2 GB. Otherwise, the image may fail to parse.

    Image Description

    Enter a description of the image, such as its purpose.
