In late 2020, the CentOS project announced the end of maintenance for CentOS 8 and the shift to CentOS Stream. CentOS Stream is the upstream development version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). It uses a rolling release model to continuously integrate the latest features and fixes. Alibaba Cloud regularly updates and releases CentOS Stream images to provide the latest features, security patches, and performance optimizations. This topic describes the updated versions of CentOS Stream images and the content of each update.
