Enterprise renewal scenarios

Updated at:

This guide covers common enterprise renewal scenarios.

Top up with a corporate account

Alibaba Cloud provides each user with a dedicated bank account. You can transfer funds from your corporate account to this account to top up your Alibaba Cloud balance. After the top-up, you can use your account balance to pay for orders.

Apply for an order contract

You can export contracts for renewal orders that are Paid or Unpaid. Use these contracts for financial reconciliation or internal payment requests.

Go to the Contract Management console, click Apply for Contract, and select Order Contract. Then, select an order or bill and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your application.

The contract application page guides you through three steps: select the contract type, confirm the order and Party A information, and complete the online signing. You can filter orders by criteria such as Order ID, Product Name, Order Creation Time, or Payment/Activation Time. Select the target order and submit the application.

Issue an invoice after renewal

Go to the Invoice Management console to issue an invoice for your renewal order. For detailed instructions, see Issue an invoice.

On the Invoice by Order tab, find the order in the list. For renewal orders, the Billing Type column displays Renewal. Select the order to apply for an invoice.

Handling late corporate transfers

An expired ECS instance will disrupt your services. We recommend you contact your bank or finance department to expedite the payment. If the corporate transfer will not arrive in time, contact your account manager or submit a ticket for assistance. We also strongly recommend that you back up your ECS data to prevent data loss.
