This topic describes how to modify the scheduled restart time for an instance in the ECS console.
Prerequisites
A system event with a restart plan exists.
Background information
In the ECS console, you can modify the execution time of a system event or manually restart an instance before its maintenance window. This operation applies only to system events with a restart plan, such as those for system maintenance.
Procedure
Go to ECS console - Events.

On the Event page, click Scheduled O&M Events.

In the Scheduled O&M Events list, on the ECS tab, find the ECS instance that has a scheduled restart, and in the Actions column, click Schedule Restart.

On the Scheduled Restart Time page, select Scheduled Date: and Reservation Time.
NoteThe Scheduled Restart Time cannot be later than the Latest Schedule Time. The Latest Schedule Time is 30 minutes earlier than the Scheduled Execution Time.
The restart time must be at least 5 minutes from the current time. The instance restarts within a 5-minute window beginning at the specified time.
