Create an instance from an existing instance
Use Buy Same Specifications to clone an ECS instance's type, disk, image, and bandwidth settings, with optional modifications.
Prerequisites
Alibaba Cloud account balance (cash balance) and cash coupons have a combined value of at least 100.00 CNY. See Top up online.
Procedure
Go to ECS console - Instances.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region and resource group.

Click the instance ID. On the instance details page, click All Actions in the upper-right corner to open the All Actions pane, and then click Buy Same Specifications.

Decide whether to modify the configurations.

If no changes are needed, read the service terms and click Buy Now.

To modify configurations, click Modify Configurations on Buy Page and update settings on the Custom Launch tab.
In the right-side pane, confirm the configurations, specify the duration, and click Create Order.
