Release an immediate capacity reservation

Release an immediate capacity reservation with the expiration method set to Manual Release.

Procedure

Note

Releasing a capacity reservation does not affect the associated instances, which continue to run normally.

  1. Go to ECS console - Resource Advisor.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region and resource group.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane of the Resource Advisor page, choose Guaranteed Provision > Resource Reservations.

  4. Find the target capacity reservation and choose icon1 > Release in the Actions column.

    Note

    Only capacity reservations in the Active state can be released.

  5. In the confirmation message, click OK.
