Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) supports two types of subscription changes: adjusting instance specifications (the maximum number of application instances) and switching editions (the feature tier). Use upgrade or downgrade operations to match your EDAS subscription to your current workload.

When to upgrade vs. downgrade

Note Both operations require the subscription billing method. You cannot change the billing method when you upgrade instance specifications or editions.

Before you begin, make sure that you have:

  • An active EDAS subscription (Standard, Professional, or Platinum edition)

  • Sufficient account balance or a valid payment method for upgrades
