You can use Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) after you activate the service. After activation, fees are automatically deducted from your Alibaba Cloud account balance based on your selected payment method.
What happens when a payment is overdue
If your account balance is insufficient to cover the bill amount, your EDAS service enters an overdue state.
The following table describes how overdue payments affect your EDAS service:

|---|---|
| Console access | Blocked. You cannot log on to the EDAS console. |
| PoP API access | Blocked. You cannot use PoP APIs to perform operations such as application changes. |
| Application instances and data | Unchanged. EDAS does not modify your application instances or data. |
| Billing | Continues. Fees continue to accrue during the overdue period. |
