Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) supports two billing modes: subscription and pay-as-you-go. The unsubscription process differs by billing mode:

  • Subscription: Unsubscribe from active resources or cancel a renewal period in the Expenses and Costs console. The refund amount is calculated and displayed before you confirm.

  • Pay-as-you-go: Delete all applications first, then request withdrawal from the Overview page in the EDAS console.

Unsubscribe from subscription resources

Unsubscribe from active resources

  1. Log on to the EDAS console. In the top navigation bar, choose Expenses > Expenses and Costs.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Order Management > Refund.

  3. On the Unsubscribe page, click the Unsubscribe from resources that are being used tab.

  4. Specify the Name, Instance ID, Created At, and Type parameters, and then click Search to find the target resource.

  5. In the Actions column of the resource, click Unsubscribe Resource.

  6. On the Unsubscribe Resource page, specify the Reason parameter.

  7. Select the following check boxes:

    • I have read the Unsubscribing Rules and confirmed the unsubscribe amount.

    • I have confirmed that the data of the unsubscribe instance is backed up and migrated.

  8. Click Unsubscribe.

Cancel a renewal period

  1. Log on to the EDAS console. In the top navigation bar, choose Expenses > Expenses and Costs.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Order Management > Refund.

  3. On the Unsubscribe page, click the Unsubscribe Renewal Period tab.

  4. Specify the Name and Instance ID parameters, and then click Search to find the target resource.

  5. In the Actions column of the resource, click Cancel Renewal.

  6. On the Cancel Renewal page, specify the Updated Expiration Time parameter.

  7. Select the I have read the Unsubscribing Rules and confirmed the unsubscribe amount. check box.

  8. Confirm the Refund Amount value, and then click Unsubscribe.

View unsubscription history

On the Unsubscribe page, click Unsubscribe Order Details to view past unsubscription orders.

Withdraw from pay-as-you-go resources

Important

Delete all applications in your account before you withdraw from pay-as-you-go EDAS resources. To verify that all applications are deleted, click Overview in the EDAS console. If the Wizard page appears, all applications have been deleted.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the EDAS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the Overview page, click the Back icon to exit Wizard. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Withdrawal.

  3. In the confirmation message, click OK.
