Tags are key-value pairs that you attach to Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) resources for identification and classification. Assign tags to applications and clusters to organize resources across multiple dimensions, such as environment, team, or cost center.
For example, to distinguish production resources from staging resources, assign the tag Environment = Production to one group and Environment = Staging to the other.
Use cases
Filter resources by tag
Add tags to applications and clusters, then filter resources by tag in the EDAS console. For more information, see Filter resources by tag.
Control access with tags
Combine tags with Resource Access Management (RAM) permission policies to grant or restrict access to specific resources. For more information, see Use tags to enforce access control on resources.
