TCP multiplexing reduces transmission delay for your services.
Usage notes
- This feature supports only domain names accelerated over TCP, not those that use UDP.
- TCP multiplexing is configured per origin server port and is disabled by default.
Use cases
Enable TCP multiplexing if the response to a single request is smaller than 5 KB.
Procedure
-
Log on to the DCDN console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click IP Application Accelerator.
- On the IP Application Accelerator page, click Settings next to the target domain name.
- On the Performance Optimization page, turn on the TCP switch for the port that you want to accelerate.
Acceleration results
The yellow line shows delay with TCP multiplexing enabled. Overall delay is significantly reduced.
Note Actual delay reduction varies by scenario.
