TCP/UDP Analysis

更新时间: 2026-08-20 16:41:13

Edge Security Acceleration (ESA) analyzes TCP/UDP proxy logs and presents multi-dimensional analytics, including traffic volume, connection counts, and connection durations over time, geographic distributions, and top rankings.

Benefits

Analytics data is derived from TCP/UDP proxy logs, which record the client IP address, request time, request type, and response status. ESA uses these logs to provide traffic volume, connection count, and connection duration statistics, giving you insights into the performance and security of your proxied applications.

You can analyze data from the following dimensions:

  • Trend over time: the changes in metrics over time in different dimensions.

  • Real-time monitoring and alerting: monitors key metrics such as traffic and connections in real time, helping you quickly detect and handle potential security threats and performance issues.

  • Application performance: analyzes data such as traffic and connections to optimize application performance and improve user experience.

  • Geographic distribution: shows the distribution of traffic across countries and regions, helping you identify target markets and optimize local services.

View analytics reports

  1. In the ESA console, select Websites, and in the Website column, click the target site.

  2. In the ESA console, select Websites, and in the Website column, click the target site.

  3. On the Analytics page, view traffic statistics and analytics results. You can also click image to print the report on the page or click image to download the report to your local PC as a CSV file. You can use filters to filter data.

Metrics

Overview panel

The Overview panel displays all traffic transmitted between ESA and clients, including data that passes through ESA POPs, helping you analyze historical traffic trends.

image

  • Inbound Traffic: the total amount of traffic transmitted from clients to ESA POPs.

  • Outbound Traffic: the total amount of traffic that passes through ESA POPs to clients.

  • Maximum Concurrent Connections: the maximum number of connections established between clients and ESA at the transport layer within the specified time range.

    Note

All percentages reflect period-on-period changes (between the selected time range and the last time range).

Country/region

This panel shows the geographic distribution of your traffic, helping you locate target markets and optimize strategies.
