Plan configurations and pricing

All plans come with a 60 GiB system disk and 10 Mbps of default public bandwidth. Other configurations, such as data disk capacity, monthly Lingdou quota, and price, vary by plan. See the table below for details.

Plan rules

• The use of a cloud computer is limited by both the billing cycle and the monthly Lingdou quota.

  • If you use up your monthly Lingdou quota, you cannot start the cloud computer, even if the plan is still active. You must wait for your quota to reset in the next month or purchase a Lingdou package to add more Lingdou.

  • When your plan expires, you cannot start the cloud computer, even if you have Lingdou remaining. You must renew the plan to continue using the service.

• For auto-renewal subscriptions, the introductory price for each plan and subscription type is available only for the first subscription. You cannot get the discount again by canceling and resubscribing.

• A billing cycle for a cloud computer plan starts when the purchase is successful and ends at 23:59:59 on the last day of the cycle. The end date is calculated as follows:

  • Monthly auto-renewal: The month number increases by one, and the day remains the same. If the end month does not have that day, the last day of the end month is used.

    • Example 1: If a purchase is made on July 3, 2024, the billing cycle ends on August 3, 2024.

    • Example 2: If a purchase is made on January 31, 2024, the billing cycle ends on February 29, 2024.

  • Quarterly auto-renewal: The month number increases by three, and the day remains the same. If the end month does not have that day, the last day of the end month is used.

    • Example 1: If a purchase is made on July 3, 2024, the billing cycle ends on October 3, 2024.

    • Example 2: If a purchase is made on January 31, 2024, the billing cycle ends on April 30, 2024.

  • Annual auto-renewal: The year number increases by one, and the month and day remain the same. If the end year does not have that day (for example, in a leap year), the last day of the same month in the end year is used.

    • Example 1: If a purchase is made on July 3, 2024, the billing cycle ends on July 3, 2025.

    • Example 2: If a purchase is made on February 29, 2024, the billing cycle ends on February 28, 2025.

Purchase methods

You can purchase a cloud computer plan in the following ways:

• Auto-renewal subscription: Subscribe on a recurring basis for better pricing and convenience.

• One-time purchase: Pay for a single billing cycle upfront with no recurring charges.

Auto-renewal subscription

Payment method

Payments are made through Alipay. For your first subscription, you must also agree to the Wuying Workspace Auto-Renewal Service Agreement, which authorizes Wuying Workspace Individual Edition to automatically deduct renewal fees from your Alipay account.

Automatic deduction

For auto-renewal subscriptions, the fee for the next billing cycle will be automatically deducted from your Alipay account starting at 11:30:00 on the fifth day before your current cycle ends. The following figure uses a monthly auto-renewal plan as an example. The same logic applies to quarterly and annual auto-renewal plans.

Important

If the first deduction attempt fails, the system will retry on the following day. If the second attempt also fails, the system automatically cancels the subscription.

Note

For auto-renewal subscriptions of Wuying Workspace Individual Edition, if your Alibaba Cloud account has available coupons, the system deducts from coupons first, then from your Alipay account.

You can choose one of the following payment methods:

• Alibaba Cloud account balance

• Online payment

• Coupon

  Note

  Log in to the Billing Management console, choose Account > Vouchers in the left-side navigation pane, and view coupon details on the Coupons tab. Make sure your coupon is in the Available state.

Plan renewal

• When a plan from a one-time purchase expires, the cloud computer will be shut down and become unusable, regardless of any remaining Lingdou.

• To continue using the service, you must renew the plan within 15 days of its expiration.

• When you renew, you can switch to an auto-renewal subscription or make another one-time purchase.

Plan change

You can change your cloud computer plan. Click the Settings button on the target cloud computer card, and then click Change Plan Configuration on the Plan tab.

Cloud computer rates

When starting your plan-based cloud computer, you can select a running mode. Each mode provides different computing resources and has a corresponding hourly Lingdou consumption rate.

The rates are as follows:

• For standard specifications (without video memory), the hourly Lingdou consumption is equal to the number of vCPU cores:

  Note

  The term core in running modes refers to a vCPU core.

  • Economy mode: 4-core CPU/8 GiB memory, rate: 4 Lingdou/hour.

  • Smooth mode: 8-core CPU/16 GiB memory, rate: 8 Lingdou/hour.

  • Performance mode: 16-core CPU/32 GiB memory, rate: 16 Lingdou/hour.

• For graphics-optimized specifications (with video memory), the hourly Lingdou consumption is greater than the number of vCPU cores because video memory is also a billable factor:

  • Gaming mode: 12-core CPU/46 GiB memory/11 GiB video memory, rate: 60 Lingdou/hour.

For example, if you select Economy mode and run it for 5.2 hours, the total Lingdou consumed is 5.2 × 4 = 20.8 Lingdou.

Cloud game rates

Different types of cloud games have different Lingdou consumption rates:

• Large, resource-intensive games (such as Black Myth: Wukong and Wuthering Waves): 80 Lingdou/hour.

• Small, less resource-intensive games (such as Plants vs. Zombies): 10 Lingdou/hour.

Minimum Lingdou consumption

A minimum number of Lingdou is consumed each time you start a cloud computer or a cloud game. This is the minimum amount that will be deducted if you connect and then immediately disconnect.

• Cloud computer:

  • Economy mode: 1 Lingdou

  • Smooth mode: 2 Lingdou

  • Performance mode: 3 Lingdou

  • Gaming mode: 10 Lingdou

• Cloud game: 10 Lingdou

Package purchase

You can purchase a Lingdou package from the following Wuying clients:

• Wuying Client for Windows/Wuying Client for macOS (V7.3 and later)

• Wuying Client for Android (V7.4 and later)

• Web client

• Wuying Workspace Alipay mini program

• Wuying Workspace WeChat mini program

The following Wuying clients support cloud games:

• Wuying Client for Windows/Wuying Client for macOS (V7.5 and later)

• Wuying Client for Android (V7.4 and later)

• Web client

Follow these steps to purchase a Lingdou package:

Lingdou deduction rules

• Unused Lingdou from your plan expires at the end of each subscription cycle. Your Lingdou quota resets to its full amount at the start of the next cycle.

• If you have both a cloud computer plan and a Lingdou package, the system deducts Lingdou from your plan first. After that quota is depleted, the system deducts Lingdou from your Lingdou package.

• If you have multiple Lingdou packages, the one with the earliest expiration date will be used first.

Continuous 24/7 operation

This example assumes a Gold plan (auto-renewal subscription at CNY 9.90/month, including 40 Lingdou/month), using Economy mode (4 Lingdou/hour) continuously for 720 hours a month.

Total monthly cost: CNY 9.90 (Gold plan) + CNY 129.90 (Quarterly Lingdou package, 4000 Lingdou) = CNY 139.80.

Occasional monthly use

This example assumes a Gold plan (auto-renewal subscription at CNY 9.90/month, including 40 Lingdou/month), using Economy mode (4 Lingdou/hour) for a total of 10 hours or less per month.

Total monthly cost: CNY 9.90 (Gold plan fee).

Cost optimization tips

1. Shut down when not in use: Lingdou is only consumed when your cloud computer is running. No Lingdou is consumed during hibernation or when the cloud computer is shut down.

2. Choose the right mode: Use Economy mode (4 Lingdou/hour) for light office work and avoid Gaming mode (60 Lingdou/hour) unless necessary.

3. Configure auto-hibernation: Set the cloud computer to automatically hibernate after you disconnect to avoid costs from forgetting to shut it down (enabled by default).

Is usage unlimited after I purchase a plan?

No. Starting a cloud computer requires both an active plan and a positive Lingdou balance. If you use up the Lingdou in your plan, you cannot start the cloud computer until you purchase a Lingdou package.

I only bought a Lingdou package. Why can't I start my cloud computer?

A Lingdou package only provides a Lingdou quota; it does not include a cloud computer. You must first purchase a cloud computer plan to obtain a cloud computer. A Lingdou package is a supplement used to replenish Lingdou when your plan's quota is depleted or to play cloud games directly. I bought the wrong plan. How do I unsubscribe?

Go to Self Service, find Wuying Workspace Individual Edition, and click Unsubscribe Now to select the plan you want to cancel.

I canceled my monthly auto-renewal, but I was still charged for renewal. Why?

You may have canceled the subscription after the system had already processed the renewal and deduction. The system deducts the fee for the next billing cycle from your Alipay account on the fifth day before the end of each billing cycle.

Does Wuying Workspace Individual Edition support overseas nodes?

No. Wuying Workspace Individual Edition only supports resource creation in the Chinese mainland.

How can I manually delete an expired cloud computer?

After a plan expires, if you no longer need the cloud computer and do not want to wait for the system to release it automatically, you can delete it manually. Follow these steps:

1. Log on to the Wuying Workspace Individual Edition console and find the expired cloud computer on the overview page.

2. Click the Settings button for the target cloud computer.

3. In the dialog box that appears, select the More tab and click Delete Cloud Computer.
