Edge Load Balancer (ELB) instances are private network instances. To enable access from the public network, you must associate an Elastic IP Address (EIP) with an ELB instance. After the EIP is associated, the ELB instance can forward requests from the public network.

Prerequisites

An EIP instance is created. For more information, see Create and manage edge EIPs. Data transfer costs are charged for the edge EIP if you associate a public EIP with an ELB instance. For more information, see EIP billing.

Procedure

Important

When you associate an ELB instance with a public IP address, a transient disconnection occurs if the instance is handling private network service traffic. Perform this operation during off-peak hours, or switch the service to another instance before you proceed.

  1. Log on to the ENS console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Edge Load Balancer > CLB.

  3. On the ELB Instance page, find the target instance, and then in the Actions column, click 更多 > Associate Public IP Address.

  4. On the Associate Public IP Address page, select the target public IP address.

  5. Click OK.
