This topic describes how to create, disassociate, and release edge EIPs.
Create an edge EIP

Log on to the Edge Node Service (ENS) console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Management > Edge EIPs.

Click Create Instance.

On the Create Edge EIP page, configure the following parameters.
Parameter
Description
Billing method
Only Pay-as-you-go is supported.
Instance name
The name of the edge EIP.
Region

Node: The edge node where you want to create the edge EIP.

Quantity: The number of edge EIPs to create.

Billing method: Only the pay-by-95th-percentile method is supported.

Bandwidth: The peak bandwidth of the edge EIP.
NoteIn the console, you can create edge EIPs on multiple edge nodes simultaneously.

Select the Terms of Service checkbox and click Confirm.
Disassociate an edge EIP

Log on to the Edge Node Service (ENS) console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Management > Edge EIPs.

On the Edge EIPs page, find the target EIP and click Unbind in the Actions column.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
Ensure the EIP is not referenced by any cloud resource configurations. If it is, remove these references first.
Release an edge EIP
Before releasing an edge EIP, ensure it is not associated with any cloud resources.

Log on to the Edge Node Service (ENS) console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Management > Edge EIPs.

On the Edge EIPs page, find the target EIP and click Release in the Actions column.

In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
