Node specifications
Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch (ES) and Logstash instances support a fixed set of node specifications and node storage types. Use the values listed in this topic when you purchase an ES or Logstash instance by calling an API operation.
ES instance node specifications
The node specifications that are supported vary by region and version. For the specifications available in your region, see the purchase page.
The following table lists the nodeSpec values that you can specify when you purchase an ES instance by calling an API operation. The values are grouped by CPU type and specification family.
For more information about the prices of cluster types, see Pricing of Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch.
The developer and test cluster type is a low-cost trial cluster type intended for personal websites, small application developers, and Elasticsearch learners. This cluster type is available for purchase only in certain regions and for certain versions. For more information, see developer and test cluster type.
Due to inventory constraints and to ensure performance stability, you can no longer purchase new data nodes with 1 vCPU and 2 GiB of memory or 2 vCPUs and 2 GiB of memory for Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch. Existing nodes are not affected. The cluster type with 1 vCPU and 2 GiB of memory is suitable only for test scenarios and is not applicable to production environments. This cluster type is not covered by the Service-Level Agreement (SLA). We recommend that you upgrade low-specification cluster types to high-specification cluster types at your earliest convenience.
