When you enable the Intelligent Maintenance service for an Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch instance for the first time, you must grant the service permission to access the basic information and logs of your cluster. The service does not access the data in your cluster.
Prerequisites
You have created an Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch instance. For more information, see Create an Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch instance.
The instance is in one of the following regions: China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Qingdao), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), China (Shenzhen), China East 1 Finance, or China East 2 Finance.
Intelligent Maintenance is not available for Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch instances running version 7.16 or 8.5. For these versions, use Advanced Monitoring or run the
GET _cat/health?vcommand to check your cluster health.
Steps
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch console.
In the left navigation menu, choose Elasticsearch Clusters.
Navigate to the target cluster.
In the top navigation bar, select the resource group to which the cluster belongs and the region where the cluster resides.
On the Elasticsearch Clusters page, find the cluster and click its ID.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Intelligent Maintenance > Cluster Overview.
Click Authorization Disclaimer.
In the Authorization Disclaimer dialog box, read the terms and conditions and click I Agree.

Click Authorize and Enable.
