Restart an instance or node
Updated at:
Restarting an Alibaba Cloud Logstash instance or node can help you apply configuration changes, restore an unavailable service, or resolve other issues. This topic explains how to restart an instance or node from the console.
Prerequisites
The instance Status must be Normal (green), and its resource usage must not be high.Note View resource usage metrics, such as node disk usage, node heap memory usage, Node CPU usage, and Node Workload Within One Minute, on the Cluster Monitoring page. For more information, see Configure a custom alert policy.
Procedure
You can perform a restart at the instance level or the node level. An instance-level restart reboots all nodes within the instance, while a node-level restart reboots only a selected node. The restart procedure for Alibaba Cloud Logstash is similar to that for Alibaba Cloud Elasticsearch. For details, see Restart a cluster or node.
