Create, view, and delete custom event buses in the EventBridge console.
Prerequisites
Create a custom event bus
Log on to the EventBridge console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Event Buses.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.

On the Event Buses page, in the Custom Event Buses section, click Quickly Create.

In the Create Custom Event Bus panel, complete the following steps.

In the Event Bus (Required) step, enter the Name and Description, and click Next.

Optional: In the Event Source step, enter an Event Source Name and a Description, select an event provider and its resource information, and click Next.
Click Skip to skip this step and add an event source later.

Optional: In the Rule panel, enter a Rule Name and a Description, define an event pattern in the Pattern Content code editor, and click Next.
Click Skip. In the Skip Subsequent Steps dialog box, click OK to create the event bus without a rule or targets.

Optional: In the Target panel, configure event targets and click Create.
ImportantYou can add up to five event targets to an event rule.
The target service and the event rule must be in the same region.
EventBridge supports the following event targets:
Function Compute: Processes events.

You can select an event transformation method as needed. For more information, see event transformation.
Click Skip. In the Skip Subsequent Steps dialog box, click OK to create the event bus without a rule or targets.

View a custom event bus
Log on to the EventBridge console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Event Buses.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.

On the Event Buses page, find the target custom event bus and click Details in the Actions column.
The Event Bus Overview page displays the basic and endpoint information of the custom event bus.
Delete a custom event bus
Delete all associated event sources and event rules before you delete a custom event bus. Otherwise, the deletion fails.
Log on to the EventBridge console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Event Buses.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.

On the Event Buses page, find the target custom event bus and click Delete in the Actions column.

In the Note dialog box, read the message and click OK.

Optional: In the Verify Account Security dialog box, click Obtain Verification Code, enter the verification code in the Verification Code field, and click OK.
WarningYou cannot recover the data of a deleted custom event bus.
