Express Connect circuits

Increase the Express Connect circuit quota

By default, each account can have a maximum of two Express Connect circuits at the same access point.

You can increase the quota in the following ways:

Unable to create an Express Connect circuit port

This issue occurs if the port inventory or uplink bandwidth at the access point is insufficient. Select a different port type or another access point.

Error: Missing required selection

This error occurs if you do not select Yes for the Understand Billing Rules parameter. Review the billing rules for Express Connect, and then select Yes.

Failed to convert to a shared port

This conversion fails because the virtual border router (VBR) instance does not have a bandwidth value or a VLAN ID. To resolve this, set a bandwidth value and a VLAN ID for the VBR instance.
Note You cannot set the bandwidth limit of a VBR instance to unlimited.

Virtual border routers (VBRs)

Increase the VBR quota

If you reach the quota for free VBRs, do one of the following:

Peering connections

Increase the peering connection quota

You can go to the Quota Management page to increase the quota. For more information, see Manage resource quotas.

Note If your request is denied, try requesting a smaller increase (for example, in increments of 5) or submit a ticket for assistance.

Unable to create a cross-region peering connection

You cannot create a cross-region peering connection if there is insufficient bandwidth available between the two regions. For assistance, submit a ticket.
