Troubleshoot common console issues

Updated at:

This topic describes common console issues and how to resolve them.

Express Connect circuits

Increase the Express Connect circuit quota

By default, each account can have a maximum of two Express Connect circuits at the same access point.

You can go to Quota center console to increase the quota on your own. For more information, see Manage resource quotas.

Unable to create an Express Connect circuit port

This issue occurs if the port inventory or uplink bandwidth at the access point is insufficient. Select a different port type or another access point.

Error: Missing required selection

This error occurs if you do not select Yes for the Understand Billing Rules parameter. Review the billing rules for Express Connect, and then select Yes.

Failed to convert to a shared port

Shared port conversion failed because the VBR instance has no bandwidth value or VLAN ID configured. Set a bandwidth value and a VLAN ID for the VBR instance.

Note

Setting the bandwidth rate limit of a VBR instance to unlimited is not supported.

Virtual border routers (VBRs)

Increase the VBR quota

When your quota for creating free VBRs reaches the upper limit, you can resolve this in the following ways:

Peering connections

Increase the peering connection quota

You can go to Quota center console to increase the quota. For more information, see Manage resource quotas.

Note

If the system rejects your application, we recommend that you increase the quota in small increments (for example, by 5 each time) or consult submit a ticket.

Unable to create a cross-region peering connection

When the inventory bandwidth between two regions is insufficient, you cannot purchase a cross-region peering connection. For more information, consult submit a ticket.
