When specifying the VVR version in your POM file, always use the version number shown on Maven. Hotfix releases may not be announced through other channels.
-
VVR 8.0.1 and VVR 8.0.3 have a potential data-loss risk in extreme cases. End of Support (EoS) for these versions has been accelerated. Upgrade your jobs to VVR 8.0.5 or later. Upgrade engine versions for jobs.

VVR version numbering: Engine versions.
-
Engine and CDC connector version compatibility: Apache Flink CDC.
-
Long-term support (LTS) versions: The final minor version of each major VVR version becomes the LTS version. For example, the LTS version of VVR 6.x is VVR 6.0.7. Alibaba Cloud maintains exactly two LTS versions at a time. When a new LTS version is released, the oldest LTS version reaches EOS and can no longer be selected when creating new deployments.
-
Critical issues: If a VVR version has critical security or stability issues, Alibaba Cloud shortens the Runtime lifecycle policy (RLP) to three months and notifies affected users through the console or announcements.
