Log on to the secure environment

This topic describes how to connect to and log on to a remote secure environment. Before you begin, make sure that you have completed the configuration steps in the Operations Guide for Secure Environment Modeling and obtained your account and password.

Connect from Windows

1. Remote Desktop Connection

Connect from a Windows PC using the built-in Remote Desktop Connection.

  • Press Win+R to open the Run dialog box. Enter mstsc and press Enter to open the Remote Desktop Connection window.

  • Enter the bastion host address: qcspkcbwdh-public.bastionhost.aliyuncs.com:63389

2. Enter your credentials

To get your account and initial password, see the Operations Guide for Secure Environment Modeling.

In the Login dialog box, enter your username and password, and then click Login.

3. Complete MFA verification

After your credentials are verified, you must complete multi-factor authentication (MFA).

In the Two Factor dialog box, enter the MFA verification code. OTP, SMS, and Email are supported. Click Ok to complete the verification.

4. Change your password

  • When you log on for the first time, you must change your password and then log on again.

  • After logging on again, select the machine that corresponds to Username=Administrator to access the Windows desktop and begin modeling.

Click Change Password in the upper-left corner to open the password change page.

Connect from macOS

1. Add a PC

Use the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to connect to the secure environment from a Mac. Follow these steps:

  • Download and open the Microsoft Remote Desktop app, and then select Add PC.

In the toolbar, click + on the right, and then select Add PC from the drop-down list.

  • Enter the bastion host address: qcspkcbwdh-public.bastionhost.aliyuncs.com:63389, and then click Add.

Enter the bastion host address in the PC name field. You can leave the other settings as their defaults.

2. Log on and enter credentials

To get your account and initial password, see the Operations Guide for Secure Environment Modeling.

In the credentials dialog box, enter your username and password.

3. Complete MFA verification

After your credentials are verified, you must complete multi-factor authentication (MFA).

In the Two Factor dialog box, enter the MFA verification code. OTP, SMS, and Email are supported. Click Ok to complete the verification.

4. Change your password

  • When you log on for the first time, you must change your password and then log on again.

  • After logging on again, select the machine that corresponds to Username=Administrator to access the Windows desktop and begin modeling.

After logging on, a red notification appears at the bottom of the page: Your password has expired, please change your password immediately. Click Change Password in the upper-left corner to change your password.

Notes

  • Only one account can be online in the secure environment at a time.

  • You must implement the feature processing logic in the DataFrameMapper of the pipeline.

  • If you have trouble connecting to the secure environment, contact your Alibaba Cloud representative.
