When you create a policy, the system generates an initial version number. Modifying the policy creates a new policy draft with a new version number. Version numbers help you track and switch between different policy versions.
View version numbers
Creating a policy on the Policy Management page automatically assigns it an initial version number of 1.
Create a new version
Use versions to manage a policy's change history. In the policy list, click Version > Create New Version to create an editable copy of the current policy. This copy is saved as a policy draft. You can then modify this new version by adding or removing conditions, adjusting thresholds, or changing the condition evaluation logic.
Switch policy versions
After you modify the new policy version, you can change its run state like any other policy, such as deploying it for a trial run or a production run.
Setting a new policy version to a run state (including a trial run) automatically takes the original version offline.
To roll back to a previous version, find the version you want to restore, click Create New Version to make a copy of it, and then save the copy.
