Configure a whitelist

Procedure

1. Log on to the GDB console.
2. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your instance resides.
3. Click the ID of the instance, or find the instance and click View Instance Details in the Action column.
4. In the navigation pane on the left, click Data Security.
5. On the Whitelist Settings tab, click Modify to the right of the default group.
6. In the text box to the right of Group Whitelist, enter the IP addresses of the clients that need to access GDB.
   This topic uses an ECS instance to connect to GDB. You can view the IP address of the ECS instance in the ECS console.
7. Click OK.
