Change instance configuration

Graph Database (GDB) lets you change the configuration of an instance. If the current configuration is not suitable for your business requirements, you can modify it.

Limits

  • The new storage space must be greater than or equal to the current storage space.
  • You cannot downgrade a High-availability Edition instance to the 2-core 16 GB specification. This specification is discontinued for High-availability Edition instances.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Graph Database console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region of your instance.
  3. Click the ID of the target instance, or click Manage in the Actions column of the target instance.
  4. On the Basic Information page, open the configuration change page based on the billing method of the instance.
    • Subscription

      In the upper-right corner of the Configuration Information section, click Upgrade Configuration or Downgrade Configuration.

    • Pay-as-you-go

      In the upper-right corner of the Configuration Information section, click Change Configuration.

  5. On the Change Configuration page, set the following parameters.

    Note Downgrading to 2-core 16 GB is not supported.

    Note Downgrading to 2-core 16 GB is not supported.
    Storage SpaceSelect the new storage space.
    Note Decreasing the instance storage space is not supported.
  6. Complete the purchase based on the billing method.
    • Pay-as-you-go: Read and accept the Terms of Service, and then click Buy Now. The fee is automatically deducted within the next hour.
    • Subscription: Read and accept the Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and then complete the payment on the Payment page.
    During the configuration change, the instance status is Changing. The process is complete when the status changes to Running.
