Release an instance
Graph Database (GDB) lets you manually release instances based on your business needs. After an instance is released, its data cannot be recovered.
Prerequisites
The instance is running.
Notes
Released instances cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution. Before you release an instance, back up its data and restore the data to another instance. For more information, see Back up data and Restore data.
Release a pay-as-you-go instance
- Log on to the GDB console.
- In the top navigation bar, select the region in which your instance resides.
- Click the ID of the instance, or find the instance and click View Instance Details in the Action column.
In the Running Status area, click Release Instance.
In the Destroy Instance dialog box, click OK.
Release a subscription instance
- Log on to the GDB console.
In the top navigation bar, click Expenses.
In the navigation pane on the left of the Expenses and Costs console, under Subscription Orders, click Unsubscribe.
On the Unsubscribe Resources tab, enter the ID of the GDB instance that you want to release in the Instance ID search box, and click Search.
In the Actions column for the target instance, click Unsubscribe.
On the Unsubscribe page, select I have read the Unsubscription Rules and confirm the refund amount. and I confirm that the instance data has been backed up and migrated.
Click Unsubscribe Now.
On the Confirm Unsubscription page, select a reason and click OK.
