This topic describes how to use templates to submit batch jobs and manage them using submission records.

Step 1: View application templates

Select and start an application template from the application configurations in your workspace. If no templates are available, see Create an application template.

Step 2: Start a job submission

Configure the submission parameters for the application template. The process is similar to creating a job. For more information, see the Run options section.

Step 3: Select entity data

Select the entity table data to analyze based on the root entity defined in the template. After the submission is complete, a job is automatically generated for each entity.

Warning

If you select all data, every row in the entity table is used as input for the submission. This action can generate many jobs. Proceed with caution.

Step 4: Manage submission records

After the submission is complete, the platform automatically generates a submission record ID. You can use this record ID to manage all generated jobs.

  • Stop: Stops all jobs generated by the submission.

  • Resume: Resumes only the failed jobs in a partially completed submission.

Step 5: View batch jobs generated by the submission

Click a submission record to view the job records generated for the input entities, such as S006 and S007.
