Cloud service integration

View cloud service integrations

1. Log on to the Managed Service for Grafana console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Workspace Management.

2. On the Workspace Management page, click the ID of the workspace that you want to manage.

3. The Cloud Service Integration section on the Workspace Information page lists the cloud services that support one-click integration.

   Managed Service for Grafana currently supports one-click integration for the data sources and dashboards of the following cloud services. For other cloud services, you must add data sources manually. For more information, see Manually add a data source.

   • Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS)

   • Prometheus Service for Cloud Services

   • Managed Service for Prometheus

   • CloudMonitor

   • ARMS alert management

   • Log Service

   • Lindorm

Integrate ARMS application monitoring

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select ARMS Application Monitoring from the left-side pane.

   Note

   If you do not see Application Real-Time Monitoring Service (ARMS) on the page, contact the Managed Service for Grafana DingTalk group (ID: 34785590) to upgrade your version.

2. On the right side of the page, find the data source that you want to integrate, click Integrations, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

3. Click the Folder icon to the right of the data source.

   On the Grafana Dashboards page, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

4. Optional: In the Grafana left-side navigation pane, choose > Data Source.

   On the Data Source tab, you can view all integrated data sources.

Integrate Managed Service for Prometheus

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Managed Service for Prometheus from the left-side pane.

2. On the right side of the page, find the data source that you want to integrate, click Integrations, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

3. Click the Folder icon to the right of the data source.

   On the Grafana Dashboards page, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

   Note

   The pre-built dashboards vary depending on the type of Prometheus instance.

Integrate Prometheus Service for Cloud Services

1. Connect your cloud products to Prometheus Service for Cloud Services. For more information, see Cloud service observability.

2. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Prometheus Service for Cloud Services from the left-side pane.

3. On the right side of the page, find the data source that you want to integrate, click Integrations, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

   Note

   In the Prometheus Service (Old) section, click Configure Cloud Service Monitoring to connect more cloud products to Prometheus Service for Cloud Services.

4. Click the Folder icon to the right of the data source.

   On the Grafana Dashboards page, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

Integrate CloudMonitor

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Hybrid Cloud Monitoring from the left-side pane.

2. On the right side of the page, find the data source that you want to integrate and click Integrations. In the dialog box that appears, enter your AccessKey ID and AccessKey Secret, and then click OK.

   Click Configure Hybrid Cloud Monitoring to connect more cloud products to CloudMonitor.

3. Click the Folder icon to the right of the data source.

   On the Grafana Dashboards page, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

4. Optional: In the Grafana left-side navigation pane, choose > Data Source.

   On the Data Source tab, you can view all integrated data sources.

   Note

   Managed Service for Grafana generates default dashboards based on the data available in the corresponding metric store and does not automatically add metrics from cloud products. If some panels on a dashboard show no data, go to the Cloud Service Integration section in the Managed Service for Grafana console and click Configure Hybrid Cloud Monitoring to add the required metrics.

Integrate ARMS alert management

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select ARMS Alert Management from the left-side pane.

2. On the right side of the page, find the data source that you want to integrate, click Integrations, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

3. Click the Folder icon to the right of the data source.

   On the Grafana Dashboards page, you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

Integrate Log Service

Managed Service for Grafana accesses Log Service by using the ARMS service-linked role, AliyunServiceRoleForARMS. If this role does not exist for your Alibaba Cloud account, you are redirected to an authorization page. Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the required permissions. If you need to grant this role to a RAM user, see ARMS service-linked role.

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Simple Log Service from the left-side pane.

2. On the right side of the page, click Create Log Service Data Source. In the panel that appears, enter the region, Project, and Logstore for Log Service, and then click OK.

   Note

   If your Alibaba Cloud account does not have the AliyunARMSFullAccess system policy, follow the on-screen instructions to grant the permission.

3. (Optional) Click the Folder icon to the right of the data source to open the Grafana Dashboards page, where you can view the folder that contains the dashboards for the data source.

   Important

   Currently, folders and dashboards are generated only for Logstores that contain Kubernetes events. If no folder appears on the Dashboards page, it means the Logstore does not have a pre-built default dashboard.

4. Click Explorer to the right of the data source to go to the Grafana page and view your Log Service data.

Integrate Lindorm

1. In the Cloud Service Integration section, select Lindorm from the left-side pane.

2. On the right side of the page, click Configuration Management. On the Configuration page, add the data source. For detailed instructions, see Add and use a Lindorm data source.
