Modify the disk usage threshold

Updated at:

This topic describes how to modify the disk usage threshold in the ApsaraDB for HBase console.

Usage notes

When disk usage reaches the configured threshold, the system sends a notification to the account contact by internal message, email, or SMS. If disk usage exceeds 95%, the system blocks data writes. Pay close attention to alerts and set an appropriate disk usage threshold based on your business requirements.

Note

You can change the message recipients and notification methods. Log on to the Message Center and follow these steps:

  • In the Exception Notifications section, select ApsaraDB Fault or Maintenance Notifications and Emergency Risk Warnings.

  • Set the message recipients. We recommend specifying your database administrator.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the cluster that you want to manage is deployed.
  3. On the Clusters page, click the ID of the cluster.
  4. On the Basic Information page, in the Core node information section, click Edit next to Warning Line.

  5. In the dialog box, move the slider to set the disk usage threshold.

  6. Click OK.
