Apsara SA provides data protection services for demanding active-active applications. It works with your front-end applications to enable on-premises active-active disaster recovery, protecting mission-critical business services.

  • Volume mirroring

Volume mirroring protects each node in a cluster from a single point of storage failure.

  • Local replication

Local replication uses snapshots, clones, and backups to replicate data. This method is ideal for sites within a cluster that are less than 10 km apart, with a latency of less than 1 ms.

  • Synchronous remote replication

Synchronous remote replication is suitable for clusters less than 300 km apart and maintains a latency of 15 ms or less. It provides site-level data protection with a Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of zero, meaning no data loss.

  • Asynchronous remote replication

Asynchronous remote replication is designed for clusters more than 300 km apart and provides site-level data protection with an RPO greater than zero. It is ideal for the remote site in a three data centers across two zones architecture.
