Monitoring and alerts
Hybrid Cloud Disaster Recovery integrates with the System Event service of Alibaba Cloud CloudMonitor. This free integration lets you monitor your disaster recovery tasks in real time and receive alarm notifications.
CloudMonitor event center
The CloudMonitor Event Center tracks changes related to Hybrid Cloud Disaster Recovery, such as anomalies at the production site, disaster recovery site, or gateway. Examples include a deleted security group, unexpected changes to compute resources on the production site, or a deleted network. This provides you with a comprehensive overview of the operational status of your disaster recovery tasks. In the CloudMonitor console, choose System Event from the left-side navigation pane to go to the event monitoring page. On this page, select Hybrid Cloud Disaster Recovery from the Product drop-down list. You can filter events by level, name, or keyword, and use the date range selector to specify a time period. Click Search to view the event timeline and list for the selected period.
Handle and acknowledge alarms
In the Hybrid Cloud Disaster Recovery console, you can acknowledge and handle current alarms and view historical alarms.

The console lists all current alarms. When an alarm is reported, inspect the relevant resources, such as the instance at your disaster recovery site, and review its configuration. Take corrective action as needed. After you resolve the issue, or if no action is required, click Confirm to acknowledge the alarm.

You can click a link to go directly to the site pair that triggered the alarm.
The system automatically moves alarms that resolve on their own, such as an RPO returning to a normal state, to historical alarms. For alarms related to a configuration change, you must manually acknowledge them after either reverting the change or reapplying protection to the site pair.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alarm service > Current alarms to open the current alarms page. You can filter the list by Alarm type, Faulty instance ID, or Site pair ID. The alarm list includes the following columns: Alarm type, Alarm level, Site pair ID, Faulty instance, Trigger reason, Occurrence time, and Actions.
