• Ensure business continuity. You can replicate core business data from on-premises data centers or Alibaba Cloud to the cloud in real time to achieve an RPO measured in seconds. If a major failure occurs in an on-premises data center, you can launch services on the cloud within minutes to achieve an RTO measured in minutes.

• Migrate enterprise applications to the cloud. You can replicate servers from on-premises data centers to the cloud and recover them as ECS instances. This process facilitates online application migration.

Key features

• Real-time application data replication. CDR monitors and scrapes data changes from operating system disks, ECS disks, and newly added source disks in real time. These changes are sent to a disaster recovery site for real-time data protection. This process achieves an RPO measured in seconds.

• Fast application recovery on the cloud. You can quickly launch applications replicated to the cloud as ECS instances on Alibaba Cloud. This recovery process takes only a few minutes.

• Disaster recovery drills without business interruption. You can run disaster recovery drills on replicated application servers at any time to verify business recovery capabilities. During these drills, the source production environment is not affected and data replication continues without interruption.
