DataWorks DataStudio is a web-based IDE for developing, testing, and scheduling data workloads on Hologres.
Overview
The capabilities of HoloStudio have been integrated into DataStudio in DataWorks. HoloStudio has been discontinued as of February 29, 2024. You can continue to use the relevant features in DataStudio for Hologres data development. For more information, see Discontinuation of DataWorks HoloStudio.
DataWorks is a big data development and governance platform built on compute engines including Hologres and MaxCompute. Associate a Hologres instance with a DataWorks workspace to write and run SQL, synchronize table schemas, and schedule periodic data jobs — all from a single interface.
Features
DataStudio provides a visual environment for developing and testing Hologres workloads. Hologres nodes in DataStudio support the following operations:
Hologres SQL: Write and run SQL using standard PostgreSQL syntax, then submit scripts as scheduled jobs for recurring execution.
Create MaxCompute foreign tables: Create multiple foreign tables in Hologres at once with the one-click schema synchronization feature.
Import MaxCompute data to Hologres with a few clicks: Import MaxCompute data into Hologres and configure periodic scheduling jobs through DataStudio.
