Set up event alerts
Hologres integrates key O&M operations with Cloud Monitor system events. Subscribe to these events and receive notifications by SMS, email, or other channels to stay informed about background O&M activity on your instance, diagnose issues faster, and close the loop on automated O&M workflows.
Supported events
Hologres reports the following O&M operations as Cloud Monitor system events:

Time-based elasticity for compute groups |
The compute group scales resources up or down based on elasticity rules. For details, see Time-based elasticity (Beta). |

O&M events |
Hologres initiates O&M events in the background at irregular intervals based on the instance status. These events include, but are not limited to, instance version upgrades, instance restarts, and zone migrations. For details, see O&M Event Management. |

Subscribe to system events

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.

In the left navigation pane, choose .

On the System Events page, click Create Now.

On the Create Subscription Policy page, set Subscription Type to System Event and Product to Hologres. For details about other parameters, see Manage event subscriptions.

Click Submit.
