Use Alibaba Cloud CDN
When you use Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN) to accelerate content delivery for a website hosted on a server in the Chinese mainland, you must configure an accelerated domain name. If your acceleration region is the Chinese mainland or Global, you must be aware of the ICP filing status of the accelerated domain name. This topic describes the ICP filing requirements for using CDN to accelerate website content delivery.

- Acceleration in China (Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) and outside China: ICP filing from the MIIT is not required, but Public Security filing is required.
Note If the website domain name, such as www.example.com, already has an ICP filing, its subdomains do not need a separate one. Use a subdomain of your website domain name as the CDN-accelerated domain name, such as video.example.com or *.example.com. - Adding Alibaba Cloud to your ICP filing
When you use Alibaba Cloud CDN for acceleration in the Chinese mainland or globally, the domain name must have an ICP filing number from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
