If your website is hosted on a server in the Chinese mainland, you must complete an ICP filing for your domain name before you can use Alibaba Cloud Anti-DDoS. This topic describes the ICP filing requirements for using Alibaba Cloud Anti-DDoS.

An ICP filing for your domain name is required in the following scenarios to use Alibaba Cloud Anti-DDoS:

When an ICP filing is required
If your website is hosted on a server in the Chinese mainland, you must complete an ICP filing for the domain name, such as www.example.com.
Adding Alibaba Cloud to your ICP filing
Your domain name must have an ICP filing number from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). You are not required to add Alibaba Cloud as a service provider to your ICP filing information. For more information, see Add Alibaba Cloud to your ICP filing.
