What do I do if the subscription duration of my server does not meet ICP filing requirements?

Possible cause
The server has reached the maximum number of ICP filings that can be submitted. The system displays the following message: A website ICP filing has already been submitted for this product. The number of ICP filing entities has reached the limit. Use another product.
Solution
For product verification, you can use another Alibaba Cloud server that meets the ICP filing requirements. An ICP filing service code can be used for only one website, which must belong to a single entity. The following table lists the number of websites for which you can submit an ICP filing per server. Before you submit an ICP filing, make sure that your server meets the purchase requirements in the following table.

If you use different Alibaba Cloud accounts to purchase the server (Account B) and apply for the ICP filing (Account A), you must first use Account B to log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console and apply for an ICP filing service code. Product verification error: Failed to verify product information. API exception
Possible cause
The ICP filing service code that you use for product verification is invalid. The system displays the following message: Failed to verify product information. API exception.
Procedure
Log on to the ICP filing server console to check if the server has expired. If the server has expired, its ICP filing service code becomes invalid. Submit the ICP filing application using a server that has not expired.
Product verification error: Invalid product information
Cause
If the verification information is incorrect, the system displays the Invalid product information message.
Solution
Make sure that the product type you selected for the ICP filing matches the server you purchased. If they do not match, select the correct server. If you use different Alibaba Cloud accounts to purchase the server (Account B) and apply for the ICP filing (Account A), you must first use Account B to log on to the Alibaba Cloud Management Console and apply for an ICP filing service code. Then, you can use Account A to log on and submit the ICP filing application. For more information, see (Optional) Authorize another Alibaba Cloud account for ICP filing.
Product verification error: Parameter cannot be empty
Possible cause
During product verification, you did not select a server instance or enter an ICP filing service code. The system displays the following message: Product verification failed. Cause: The parameter cannot be empty.
Solution
For product verification, you can select a purchased server instance or enter an ICP filing service code. For more information, see Enter access information for the website or app.
How do I select a product type during product verification?
To apply for an ICP filing with Alibaba Cloud, you must first purchase a supported Alibaba Cloud server. During product verification, you can associate the server with your ICP filing application. For more information about supported servers and purchase requirements, see Check the server for ICP filing.
If you use the same Alibaba Cloud account to purchase the server and apply for the ICP filing, you can select the server instance from your account for product verification. For Product type, select the server that you use for the ICP filing. For example, if you purchased an ECS server, set Product type to ECS. For more information, see A server has been purchased under the ICP filing account.
If you use different Alibaba Cloud accounts to purchase the server and apply for the ICP filing, you must use the account that was used to purchase the server to log on to the ICP Filing console and apply for an ICP filing service code. For more information, see (Optional) Authorize another Alibaba Cloud account for ICP filing. Then, you can use the ICP filing service code for product verification. You do not need to select a Product type. For more information, see An ICP filing service code is available under the ICP filing account.
How do I perform product verification if I only purchased a domain name but not a server for ICP filing?
To apply for an ICP filing with Alibaba Cloud, you must first purchase a supported Alibaba Cloud server. During product verification, you can associate the server with your ICP filing application. For more information about supported servers and purchase requirements, see Check the server for ICP filing.
What do I do if the subscription duration of my server does not meet ICP filing requirements?
Alibaba Cloud requires that servers used for ICP filing meet specific subscription duration requirements. For more information, see Purchase requirements in Server check for ICP filing. If your server's subscription duration does not meet the requirements, you must renew your server to meet the requirements.
Why can't I select a server during ICP filing?
If you cannot select your server instance during the ICP filing process, review the following possible causes and solutions.
You are not logged on with the Alibaba Cloud account that you used to purchase the server. Log on with the account that you used to purchase the server and then submit the ICP filing application.
Your ECS instance uses the pay-as-you-go billing method. Pay-as-you-go instances do not support ICP filings. You can change the billing method from pay-as-you-go to subscription and purchase a subscription for at least three months.
The ECS instance that you purchased is a subscription instance and its remaining subscription period meets the requirements. However, public bandwidth may not be enabled for the instance. If public bandwidth is not enabled, see the Modify public bandwidth section in Overview of instance configuration changes to enable it.
The billing method of your server is subscription, but the remaining subscription duration no longer meets the ICP filing requirements. You must renew the server.
Your server has expired. You cannot apply for an ICP filing service code for an expired server. You must renew the server. For more information about how to renew an ECS instance, see Subscription.
The maximum number of websites for which you can submit ICP filings using the server has been reached. You can use another Alibaba Cloud server that meets the ICP filing requirements. An ICP filing service code can be used for the ICP filing of only one website that is owned by a single entity. Before you submit an ICP filing, make sure that your server meets the purchase requirements in the following table.
