When you apply for an ICP filing for a website or app, you must enter server information, such as the IP address, for review by the Communications Administration. This topic describes how to enter this connection information by associating your application with a specific cloud service resource.
Prerequisites
-
According to relevant policies, you must purchase or associate a compliant server before applying for an ICP filing. For information about server product types and purchase requirements, see List of Alibaba Cloud servers eligible for ICP filing.
-
The method you use depends on whether your account has a purchased server or an associated ICP filing service code:
-
If your account has a purchased server, see Your account has a purchased server.
-
If your account has an ICP filing service code , see Your account has an ICP filing service code.
NoteYou can obtain an ICP filing service code for your account in one of the following ways:
-
Another account purchases a server that meets ICP filing requirements and authorizes the service code for your account. For more information, see Authorize another account for ICP filing.
-
Use a paid ICP filing service code, either purchased by your account or authorized for it by another account.
-
Use a service code from other sources, such as one from a specific product like Web Hosting, from a server purchased through an ecosystem partner, or an unused legacy service code.
-
-
Account with a purchased server
If you purchased the server for your ICP filing with the current Alibaba Cloud account, you can select the instance directly during the application process. The system automatically generates and associates an ICP filing service code. You do not need to manually apply for an ICP filing service code.
To view all server instances under your account that are eligible for ICP filing, go to the ICP Filing-Eligible Instance Management console.
-
Sign in to the ICP Filing system. In Step 3, Enter Internet Information Service, go to the website/app connection information section. From the Cloud Product Instance drop-down list, select your instance. If the instance you want to use is not listed, you can search for it by its name.
From the drop-down list, select the type of server you purchased. For example:
-
If you purchased an ECS instance, select ECS from the Cloud Service drop-down list.
-
If you purchased Alibaba Cloud's AI Website Builder (Tele-UX) or Cloud Enterprise Website, select Smart Website Builder from the Cloud Service drop-down list.
-
-
From the Cloud Product Instance drop-down list, select the instance.
NoteIf the cloud product instance does not meet ICP filing requirements, you may need to adjust its configuration, such as upgrading or downgrading an ECS instance. After you adjust the configuration, save the draft, refresh the page, and then select the instance again.
Account with an ICP filing service code
-
Go to the ICP Filing Service Code Management console to view all the ICP filing service codes for your account.
You can use service codes for an ICP filing that are in the "Available" state, including codes under "Service codes generated by this account" that are not authorized to other accounts, and codes under "Service codes authorized to me by others" that are also in the "Available" state.
-
Sign in to the ICP Filing system . In Step 3, Enter Internet Information Service, go to the website/app connection information section.
From the Cloud Service drop-down list, select ICP filing service code. Then, in the ICP filing service code input box, select the service code you want to use.
Modify connection information for an existing application
If you need to change the cloud service type or reselect an instance for a submitted ICP filing application, go to the application details page. In the Website Information section, click Edit. On the editing page, scroll to the website/app connection information section. Reselect the cloud service type and the corresponding instance, and then submit the application.
